Objective : To give executives the financial knowledge and skills
required to make effective decisions
Outcomes
At the end of the training
programme participants will be able to:

key financial documents
- Understand
and define the most common accounting terms
- Recognise
the significance of capital gearing and the use of gearing ratios in the
evaluation of business viability and in the exercise of financial control
- Identify
the principal accounting issues of concern to executives
- Understand
key accounting ratios and the use of performance indicators to assess
company performance within the SIC code for the industry being
investigated
The programme takes the form of a participative workshop with the use of
exercises and Video Arts video to reinforce the learning.
